关于

1998年，我和家人从阿德莱德来到汤斯维尔，开始在(当时的)护理学院担任讲师。1975年，我开始了我的护理生涯，作为一名注册护士在多个临床领域工作，之后在南澳大利亚农村卫生培训单位的一个多学科团队担任了10年的护士教育工作者。

我有多个研究生学位，其中包括博士学位，其标题是“探索斐济护士执业人员的角色:批判性社会理论视角”。我仍然对护士从业人员(NP)的角色感兴趣，并参与了JCU护理学院护理硕士(NP)的发展和协调。

自从来到JCU，我担任了许多行政职务，包括从2008年到2011年担任校长。

目前，我的研究兴趣包括长期疾病(慢性疾病)的流行程度及其对卫生工作者队伍的影响，农村卫生和农村护理，以及农村地区和发展中国家的护士/高级实践护理角色。我的专业目标是增加我的研究和学术产出，提高我的教学，并获得进一步的经验，指导高学历学生成功完成学业。

工作之余，我的兴趣包括积极参与当地的教堂，弹吉他，听音乐，园艺，家庭装修，看和做运动，花时间和家人在一起。
